Here’s the 7th devlog update! A progress report on dark and light rooms.
There are two types of goo counters — room counters and object counters. The only ones you really need to worry about are the room counters. They add all of the object counters for that room together.
Room counters control whether a room is dark or light. They add the total goo counters in the room. Once a room counter reaches a certain level, the room is dark. If it goes below that level, the room lights up.
Next week I’ll have more to share about dark and light rooms. I was a bit rushed this week, so next week I’ll have some better examples than the debug log. Please look forward to it!
